Our village Niederau

I would like to welcome you to Niederau in the beautiful Wildschönau! Our small village is idyllically situated in the Tyrolean Alps and is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy nature.

Niederau in summer
Our village is simply gorgeous – whether you're here in summer or winter. In summer, you can go hiking, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the lush green meadows and dense forests. There are many hiking trails that lead you to breathtaking viewpoints and rustic mountain huts.

Winter in Niederau
In winter, our village turns into a real snow paradise. The Niederau ski area is part of the large Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau and offers something for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a pro. Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing – you're guaranteed not to get bored here. And after a day on the slopes, there's nothing better than relaxing in a cozy hut with a hot drink.

Tradition and Charm
What I particularly love about Niederau is its authentic Tyrolean charm. It's still really cozy and traditional here. In summer, you can experience the culture up close at various festivals and traditional events and savor the delicious Tyrolean cuisine.
